Aug '10: CECOM Awards Contract to Gemini via DRS R2 3G Team

The Army's Communication Electronics Command (CECOM) has awarded a Rapid Response 3rd Generation (R2 3G) contract to the DRS Defense Solutions team, including Gemini Industries. The contract provides services to support critical systems requirements for the Command and Control (C2) Systems Integration Directorate (C2SID). Gemini will be the sole provider of system engineering and technical assistance support on the DRS team. Support areas include: engineering, modeling and simulation, studies and analyses, technical data management, logistics support, training and exercise support, and acquisition support.

Aug '10: USSOCOM Awards Task Order to Gemini via SRA GBPS Team

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has awarded the SRA GBPS team, including Gemini Industries, the Freedom of Information Act Support Task Order. The Task Order will continue Gemini FOIA support at MacDill AFB FL through 2014.

June '10: Gemini President Appointed to the MassExcellence Board of Directors

Gemini President Victoria Bondoc has been appointed to the Board of Directors of MassExcellence. MassExcellence seeks to enhance the Massachusetts business economy and job climate through the use of the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence to make organizations more competitive and sustainable. Since its founding in 1991, MassExcellence has managed the Massachusetts Baldrige-based excellence award program, called the Massachusetts Award for Performance Excellence.

May '10: Gemini to Continue Rapid Response support to the Special Forces

Gemini Industries will continue to support the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) under the Global Battlestaff and Program Support Program. The Program provides global special operations-unique services and expertise to support USSOCOM and Component Commands. Since 2002, Gemini has provided rapid response operations and intelligence, acquisition and logistics, and financial management and business operations support to USSOCOM Headquarters, Component Commands and Theatre Special Operations Commands.

May '10: Gemini to provide Software, Networks, Information, Modeling and Simulation for the Defense Technical Information Center Information Analysis Center

Gemini will initiate support to the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) under the Software, Networks, Information, Modeling and Simulation (SNIM) Contract as a member of the Wyle Laboratories winning team. The contract provides R&D and A&AS services in the areas of: Information Assurance, Software Data and Analysis, Modeling & Simulation, and Knowledge Management & Information Sharing in support the Information Analysis Center Program.

May '10: Gemini Launches Advanced Solutions Division

In May, Gemini established the Advanced Solutions Division to provide innovative investigative/intelligence tools, training, and support to State and Local Law Enforcement agencies and to private industry. Products and services will leverage Gemini’s expertise and experience in acquisition, advanced technology, intelligence, analysis and operations for the Department of Defense to bring the latest tools, techniques and resources to help law enforcement investigate suspects, collect evidence, prevent crimes and better protect and serve our interests.
